Terms of Service
Volnewmer Genuine Verification Web Service (rededition.volnewmer.com)
Classys Inc.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are the English version applicable to the Volnewmer genuine verification web service. They are adapted from the Classys Terms of Service to reflect what this web service actually provides and collects.
Chapter 1. General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by Classys Inc. (the "Company") through the Volnewmer genuine verification web service (the "Service"), and other matters necessary between the Company and users.
Article 2 (Effect and Amendment of the Terms)
- These Terms take effect when they are posted on the Service. A member who agrees to these Terms and creates an account is bound by them from the moment of agreement. If the Terms are amended, the amended Terms apply from their effective date.
- The Company may amend these Terms when circumstances change or for important business reasons. Amended Terms take effect in the same way as described in the preceding paragraph. Material changes will be announced on the Service in advance.
Article 3 (Personal Information)
- The Company collects and uses personal information only to the extent necessary to provide the Service. Details are set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
- The information collected through the Service is limited to the following:
- Account: email address, password (email sign-up only, stored as a one-way hash), name, country (optional), language preference, and your agreement choices.
- Social sign-in: the account identifier issued by Google, Apple, Facebook or LINE, and the email address and name provided by that provider or entered by you.
- Treatment verification: the verification code you received from your clinic, the treatment date, the clinic name and an optional rating.
- Support: the title and content of inquiries you submit.
- Automatically generated: IP address, browser information, access times and service usage records.
- The Company does not collect location information through the Service.
- The Company is not responsible for information, including account credentials, that is exposed due to causes attributable to the user.
Article 4 (Rules Outside the Terms)
Matters not specified in these Terms are governed by applicable laws. Where applicable laws are silent, the Company's individual service terms or operating policies apply.
Chapter 2. Formation of the Service Agreement
Article 5 (Application and Formation)
- The service agreement is formed when a user agrees to these Terms, applies to use the Service, and the Company accepts the application. Acceptance is confirmed by completing email verification and account creation.
- A person wishing to use the Service must provide the information requested by the Company, and must verify ownership of the email address used for the account.
- The Company may refuse or later cancel an application in any of the following cases:
- the application uses another person's name or email address;
- the application contains false information;
- the application is made for the purpose of disturbing public order or morals;
- the applicant has previously been suspended or removed for breach of these Terms;
- the applicant is under 14 years of age and the consent of a legal guardian has not been obtained;
- there are other reasonable grounds to believe the applicant may act inappropriately as a member.
- An email address that was used for an account that has been deleted may not be used to create a new account for 7 days after deletion.
Chapter 3. Use of the Service
Article 6 (Provision and Restriction of the Service)
- The Company begins providing the Service once it accepts the user's account application.
- The Service is in principle available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless there are special business or technical reasons.
- The Company may restrict the Service hours described above with prior notice to members when necessary, such as for regular system maintenance. Where prior notice is not possible because of critical bugs, server failures, urgent security issues or similar unavoidable circumstances, the Company may give notice afterwards.
Article 7 (Treatment Verification and Verification Codes)
- A verification code is issued by a clinic to the person who received a Volnewmer treatment. You may register a code only for a treatment that you personally received.
- Each verification code can be used once, by a single account. A code that has already been used, has been cancelled by the issuer, or does not exist cannot be registered.
- When registering a code you must enter the treatment date and the name of the clinic accurately. The Company may verify this information with the issuing clinic.
- The Company may refuse, revoke or cancel a verification, and any benefit associated with it, if the code was obtained or used improperly (including codes transferred, sold, or registered on behalf of another person) or if the information provided is false.
- Verification results and records shown in the Service ("My verification") are provided for the member's reference and do not constitute a medical record, a warranty by the Company, or a guarantee of treatment outcome.
Article 8 (Benefits)
- The Company may, at its discretion, provide a benefit such as a mobile gift voucher to members who complete a treatment verification. Benefits are subject to availability and may be changed or discontinued.
- Benefits are delivered to the email address registered to the account. It is the member's responsibility to keep that email address accurate and accessible.
- Benefits are personal, non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are subject to the terms and expiry date set by the voucher issuer.
- A benefit issued on the basis of an improper or false verification may be cancelled without notice.
Article 9 (Content Submitted by Members)
- Members are responsible for the content they submit to the Service (including inquiries and ratings). The Company is not responsible for any loss or problem arising from such content.
- The Company may delete submitted content without prior notice if it defames another person, violates public order or morals, relates to criminal activity, infringes the rights of others, or otherwise violates applicable laws or the Company's policies.
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Company belong to the Company. Members may not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes, or allow third parties to do so, without the Company's consent.
Chapter 4. Obligations of the Parties
Article 10 (Obligations of the Company)
- The Company will make the Service available to members from the agreed start date unless there are special circumstances.
- The Company has a duty to provide the Service continuously and stably in accordance with these Terms.
- The Company will handle opinions and complaints raised by members through the proper procedure. Where handling takes time, the Company will inform the member of the reason and the expected schedule.
- The Company keeps members' information secure, uses it only to operate and improve the Service, and does not transfer it to other organizations or individuals for any other purpose, except as described in the Privacy Policy or required by law.
Article 11 (Obligations of Members)
- Members are responsible for managing their account credentials, including their email account, password, and any social sign-in account (Google, Apple, Facebook, LINE) linked to the Service. Members bear responsibility for damage resulting from credentials exposed through their own negligence.
- If a member becomes aware that their account has been used without authorization, the member must notify the Company immediately.
- Members must comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
- Members must keep their registered information accurate and update it when it changes. The member is responsible for damage caused by delayed or omitted updates.
- Members must not: use another person's verification code or account; register false treatment information; attempt to obtain benefits improperly; interfere with the operation of the Service; or access the Service by automated means other than a normal web browser.
Chapter 5. Termination and Restriction of Use
Article 12 (Termination and Restriction)
- Members may terminate the service agreement at any time through the "Delete my account" function in Account Settings or by contacting Support.
- When a member requests deletion, the Company processes it immediately in accordance with applicable laws. Sign-in methods are removed at once and the account can no longer be used. Some information may be retained for the period described in the Privacy Policy.
- The Company may terminate the agreement or suspend the Service for a set period without prior notice if a member:
- acts against public order or morals;
- is involved in criminal activity;
- plans or carries out use of the Service to harm the public interest;
- uses another person's account or credentials;
- damages the reputation of, or causes disadvantage to, another person;
- registers multiple accounts as the same person for improper purposes;
- uses or attempts to use verification codes or benefits improperly;
- harms the Service or otherwise obstructs sound use of it;
- otherwise violates applicable laws or the conditions of use set by the Company.
Article 13 (Procedure for Restriction and Its Lifting)
- When the Company intends to restrict use, it notifies the member (or the member's representative) of the reason, date and period by email or other means.
- Where the Company deems it necessary to suspend use urgently, it may restrict the Service without the procedure in the preceding paragraph.
- A member who has been notified of a suspension may file an objection if they disagree.
- The Company lifts the suspension only when it is confirmed that the reason for the suspension has been resolved.
Chapter 6. Compensation and Disclaimer
Article 14 (Compensation for Damages)
- If the Company suffers damage because a member violates these Terms, the member must compensate the Company for all resulting damage.
- If the Company receives a claim, lawsuit or other objection from a third party because of a member's unlawful act or violation of these Terms, the member must indemnify the Company at the member's own responsibility and expense, and must compensate the Company for any damage it suffers if it is not indemnified.
Article 15 (Disclaimer)
- The Company is exempt from responsibility for providing the Service where it cannot do so due to natural disasters or comparable force majeure, where a telecommunications carrier suspends or fails to provide its service, or where the Service is suspended or disrupted due to unavoidable reasons such as previously announced maintenance, replacement, inspection or construction of service facilities.
- The Company is not responsible for suspension, disruption or termination of the Service caused by reasons attributable to the user.
- The Company is not responsible for a member's failure to obtain expected gains from the Service, and is exempt from liability for damage arising from the member's choice or use of the Service.
- The Company is exempt from liability for problems arising from the member's device or browser environment, or from network conditions not attributable to the Company.
- The Company has no duty to intervene in disputes arising between users, or between a user and a third party (including a clinic), in connection with the Service, and is not liable for damage resulting from such disputes.
Article 16 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- The laws of the Republic of Korea apply to any lawsuit between the Company and a user.
- If there is a disagreement or dispute between the Company and a member in connection with the use of the Service, the parties shall try to resolve it amicably by mutual agreement.
- If a dispute under the preceding paragraph is not resolved amicably and a lawsuit is filed, the Seoul Central District Court shall have jurisdiction.
